A warm orange-dominant head with cream or contrasting mouths, named for its bright soda-orange tones.
📜 Backstory
Sold by World Wide Corals as a named WYSIWYG Lobophyllia (a ~4.5" piece listed around $279). It is a WWC color name for a hand-selected import rather than an aquacultured line; lineage is debated. Note that many "orange lobos" in the trade are actually Acanthastrea pachysepta, so true orange Lobophyllia are worth verifying by species.
Keeper tips for this variant
Place on sand under low-to-moderate light; gentle flow keeps the orange fleshy lobes fully inflated. Hardy and a good centerpiece once acclimated.
