"Ultra Lobophyllia" is a quality-grade descriptor used by vendors such as Top Shelf Aquatics, Reef Exclusive and World Wide Corals for hand-picked WYSIWYG colonies, not a named mother colony. Lineage is per-piece since these are wild-collected or maricultured imports graded on color intensity.
Keeper tips for this variant
Keep on sand at the bottom of the tank under low-to-moderate PAR; too much light can bleach the rich pigments out. Gentle indirect flow and weekly spot-feeding help hold the intense color.
