Insane Rainbow Diaseris
A variant of Plate coral (Fungia sp.)

Representative Plate coralphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
A show-stopping Diaseris (fragmenting plate) with **bright orange, yellow, and green tentacles** erupting from a **blue/purple base** — one of the benchmark rainbow plates in the hobby.
📜 Backstory
Aquacultured and farmed in-house by **Tidal Gardens** (Copley, Ohio), whose listing states they 'have been farming this strain for some time' with regular powdered-food feeding. Diaseris are among the few plates that propagate by self-fragmentation, so these are grown from captive divisions rather than wild collection. Sold as the 'Insane Rainbow Diaseris Plate.'
Keeper tips for this variant
Place on the **sandbed** (Diaseris are mobile and will glide off rock) under low-to-moderate light, roughly 50-150 PAR, with gentle indirect flow; spot-feed powdered/meaty coral foods to drive color. These plates are hardy and grow quickly, especially after fragging.
