An aquacultured Fungia plate with a **purple disc and bright green tentacles** that glow vivid purple and green under blue light; trained to encrust with multiple mouths per frag.
📜 Backstory
A genuinely **aquacultured** line developed in **ReefGen's** frag lab, where the company describes the miniature plates as 'Laura's carefully cultivated babies' grown from a lucky find of productive Fungia (a Fungia repanda isolate coaxed to encrust). Distributed through **TerraReef**, which acquired stock from ReefGen in 2017. One of the few lineage-tracked, captive-propagated named Fungia plates in the hobby; Reef Builders called it 'an absolute showstopper.'
Keeper tips for this variant
Place flat on sand under low-to-moderate light; as a true cultured plate it adapts well to aquarium life and is beginner-friendly LPS, but appreciates regular target-feeding to grow out. A single frag can take up to six months to encrust.
