Representative Pulsing xeniaphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
Short, compact stalks topped with rounded clusters of pinkish-tan polyps that pulse quickly, giving a busy 'pom-pom' look rather than the tall waving stalks of standard xenia. Often shows a faint bluish or pink cast under blue light.
📜 Backstory
ORA (Oceans, Reefs & Aquariums) aquacultures the best-known Pom Pom Xenia line (listed as Xenia sp., though hobbyists often label it Xenia umbellata), sold through AlgaeBarn, Bulk Reef Supply, SaltwaterAquarium.com and LiveAquaria. The original wild form comes from the Red Sea and Indo-Pacific; ORA's captive line is the recognizable branded source today.
Keeper tips for this variant
