Red Xenia
A variant of Pulsing xenia (Xenia sp.)

Representative Pulsing xeniaphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
An unusual non-pulsing Xenia with reddish-purple coloration and noticeably thicker stalks that branch higher up, forming dense clumps instead of a waving carpet. Distinct from the standard pulsing forms in both color and motion.
📜 Backstory
Sold by Tidal Gardens, whose listing explicitly states it 'DOES NOT PULSE' and has 'much thicker stalks than the Red Sea Pulsing variety with branches forming higher up,' and by Bulk Reef Supply as 'ECC Red Xenia.' It is a wild-collected color form valued for its reddish-purple hue and is comparatively scarce versus the ubiquitous tan pulsing strains.
Keeper tips for this variant
Because it does not pulse and stays clumpier, it is less invasive than pulsing xenia, but still give it moderate light and flow on its own rock.
