Acans displaying rare blue or purple fluorescent rim pigments around the polyp edges, a much less common pigment than red/green. Prized as collector pieces.
Keeper tips for this variant
Add a touch more actinic/blue spectrum to pop the rim fluorescence, but keep overall intensity moderate — the blue pigment is delicate and bleaches before the reds do.
