Tokyo Tart
A variant of Acan coral (Micromussa lordhowensis)

Representative Acan coralphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
A famously oddball acan lord with a sour pastel palette — pinks, lavenders and yellow-greens — that looks nothing like the usual red and rainbow Aussie lords.
📜 Backstory
A signature strain of **Cherry Corals**, who obtained the original colony and, per a 2011 *Reef Builders* feature, believe it originated from the Vietnam/Japan region rather than Australia — hence the name. Cherry Corals fragged and distributed it so the pattern would carry on. Its exact wild reef of origin is origin debated.
Keeper tips for this variant
Place in low-to-moderate light (around 75-150 PAR) with low alternating flow and spot-feed small meaty foods weekly to keep its unusual pastels saturated. A bluer spectrum helps preserve the soft colors rather than pushing them toward red.
