An Acropora with a soft pink body and yellow/green polyps, evoking the pink-lemonade color pairing.
📜 Backstory
A long-running hobby strain most associated with Steve Tyree / Reeffarmers (the 'Tyree Pink Lemonade'), with genetics commonly traced to a Solomon Islands import. It was reportedly renamed from an earlier 'Lime Green' designation for marketing. It propagates slowly and has historically been sparsely distributed, which keeps authentic pieces pricey; as with most named acros, the label is sometimes applied loosely to similar-looking corals.
Keeper tips for this variant
Strong light and flow bring out both the pink body and yellow polyps; lower light washes it toward dull tan.
