WWC Red Shortcake
A variant of Acropora coral (Acropora sp.)

Representative Acropora coralphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
An Australian Shortcake-type Acropora that develops baby-blue base pigments with pink branch stems, corallites and pink-tentacled polyps.
📜 Backstory
Documented by Reef Farmers, who acquired their seed fragment directly from World Wide Corals (WWC) at the WWC showroom in Orlando in September 2013 as the first 'True WWC Red Shortcake' distributed. It is distinguished from the common Strawberry Shortcake by its bluer base and pinker stems; the original Australian (Coral Sea) colony's wild collection is loosely documented.
Keeper tips for this variant
Mount high under strong light and brisk flow; the blue base and pink contrast intensify with higher PAR.
