📜 Backstory
The 'Pineapple Brain' / 'Pineapple Coral' name is a long-standing descriptive trade term for the neatly-pocketed Favites (and related faviid) growth pattern and has no single lineage of origin. It is a long-time aquarium staple valued for hardiness rather than rarity, which keeps it inexpensive and common in the hobby.
Keeper tips for this variant
Very forgiving — low-to-moderate light and gentle flow anywhere in the rockwork; one of the easier Favia-type LPS for beginners.
