Representative Favites (Pineapple Brain)photo — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
An iconic neon brain with **bright green mouths ringed in yellow** fading into warmer outer polyp tissue - extremely fluorescent under blues, with patches of blue pigment that can develop on the ridges.
📜 Backstory
The Day Glo is one of Jason Fox's most famous LPS releases, a *Favites pentagona* originally collected in Indonesia. Sold through jasonfoxsignaturecorals.com and widely re-fragged by vendors such as Cultivated Reef and Reeffarmers (who acquired a piece directly from Jason Fox at a 2013 coral show). It has been in the hobby since the early 2010s and is a benchmark 'day-glow' favite; many imitators exist, so authentic JF lineage is the value driver.
Keeper tips for this variant
Color pops hardest under heavy actinic/blue light; keep it low light and gentle flow and place it below the mid-level of the tank, where this *Favites pentagona* holds its best color. Feed lightly to keep it fluffy.
