Sold as 'Gold Wall Hammer Coral (Euphyllia ancora)' by Aqua Imports and as 'Ultra Gold Wall Hammer' by That Fish Place / That Pet Place, with similar gold wall colonies at BlueZoo and Saltwaterfish. The wall vs. branching distinction is a natural growth-form difference within E. ancora; these are wild-collected wall colonies.

Wall hammers grow slowly and prefer a stable spot with moderate light and gentle flow; avoid high flow that can fold or tear the wall tissue, and keep them clear of neighboring corals.
