Wall (Octopus) Green Hammer
A variant of Hammer coral (Euphyllia ancora)

Representative Hammer coralphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
The wall/meat form of green hammer (Euphyllia/Fimbriaphyllia ancora) where many tentacles emerge from a continuous folded skeleton rather than branches, creating a dense field of green anchor tips.
📜 Backstory
The classic continuous-skeleton form of wild green *Euphyllia ancora* (now *Fimbriaphyllia ancora*), equally common as the branching type and similarly inexpensive. It is the generic species rather than a named morph. Hobbyists choose between wall and branching skeletons mostly for aquascaping and frag-yield reasons, not for any collector pedigree.
Keeper tips for this variant
Wall hammers cannot drop frags as easily, so position once and leave it; rest it on sand or a flat ledge in moderate light and keep gentle flow to avoid flesh tearing on the sharp skeleton edges.
