'Rainbow' is the common descriptive name carried by most major sellers — Tidal Gardens, Aqua SD, corals.com and New Dawn Aquaculture all list multicolor *S. tapetum* under this label. It is a color descriptor rather than a named designer morph; there is no single originator, as pieces are wild-collected and graded for color. Lineage is best described as anonymous wild stock.
Keeper tips for this variant
Give it low-to-moderate flow and let it settle on the sandbed near rockwork; avoid blasting it directly until the foot grips. It has a potent sting, so keep it away from other corals and wear gloves when handling.
