📜 Backstory
'Ultra Grade Rainbow' is a quality/color grade used by vendors such as Aqua SD to label their best multicolor maxi-mini pieces — it is a descriptive grade, not a single person's named lineage. These are wild-collected animals hand-graded for color spread, then often divided since the species clones readily. No formal cultivar lineage exists; grading is vendor-by-vendor and the underlying stock is anonymous wild import.
Keeper tips for this variant
Place on or near the sandbed in low-to-moderate flow and let it tuck its foot into rock/sand to anchor; once attached it rarely wanders. Moderate light (~100-200 PAR) is plenty; heavy actinic brings out the rainbow fluorescence. Wear gloves when handling — the sting can irritate skin.
