📜 Backstory
Sold as 'Fruity Pebble Discosoma' by Sargent's Signature Corals and carried under similar names by other vendors. The 'Fruity Pebbles' name is reused across the hobby for confetti-splashed shrooms (also applied to Rhodactis at Tidal Gardens); on Discosoma it denotes the multicolor look rather than one verifiable lineage, so origin is debated.
Keeper tips for this variant
Low-to-moderate light with gentle flow on lower rock keeps the multicolor splashes vibrant; bright light can wash out the pastel tones.
