Listed by World Wide Corals (WWC) within their named Discosoma 'Disco' mushroom collection and verifiable on the WWC site. It is a colored Discosoma branded by WWC; as with most WWC Disco names, the precise wild lineage is not documented and should be treated as origin debated.

Low light and low flow on the lower third of the aquascape lets the spotting deepen; avoid bright SPS-level lighting, which can wash out the reds.
