Representative Mushroom coralphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
A marbled, candy-like mushroom with swirled multicolor coloration (pinks, oranges, greens, blues) resembling a jawbreaker candy, among the most prized and expensive shrooms in the trade.
📜 Backstory
One of the priciest mushrooms in the hobby, with notable specimens (e.g., the 'Purple Monster' Jawbreaker) reportedly valued in the thousands to tens of thousands of dollars. Listed and sold as *Discosoma* sp. by vendors such as Aqua Imports and New Dawn Aquaculture, though the true genus is genuinely debated (some sources place it in *Rhodactis*). The original Jawbreaker lineage is unclear, so origin is debated.
Keeper tips for this variant
Stable placement on lower-to-mid rock under low-to-moderate light and low flow; let it settle undisturbed, as the high-value disc colors deepen over time.
