Sold as an aquacultured 'Octospawn: Gold Tip' by Saltwaterfish.com, as 'Gold Tip Yaeyamensis Octospawn' by Queen City Corals, and as a 'Gold Tip Branching Octopus Coral' by Quality Marine. A tip-color trade descriptor for gold-tipped stock rather than a named designer line; origin is wild Indo-Pacific colonies grown out in cultivation.
