Master Trachyphyllia / Master Brain
A variant of Open brain coral (Trachyphyllia geoffroyi)

Representative Open brain coralphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
A top-grade 'Master' open brain — an exceptionally vivid, high-contrast multicolor *Trachyphyllia* with saturated reds and greens, the term borrowed from the acan/lord grading culture.
📜 Backstory
'Master' is a grading term (as with Master acans/scolys) applied to the most colorful wild-collected Trachyphyllia specimens, often high-end Australian or Indonesian pieces. Because the grade depends on natural pigment intensity that can't be reproduced by aquaculture, Master-grade brains sit at the top of the price range. It denotes quality grade, not a single named mother colony.
Keeper tips for this variant
Sandbed placement, gentle flow, modest light; feed small meaty foods in the evening when feeder tentacles emerge to keep the polyp fat and colorful.
