The classic monochrome morph — a glowing neon/fluorescent green striped open-brain, often with subtle purple or red undertones in the grooves.
📜 Backstory
"Neon Green" (also sold as "Ultra Green") is the most common and affordable wild Trachyphyllia color, stocked by Tidal Gardens, Blue Zoo Aquatics, Aqua SD, and most LPS vendors. It is a natural single-color morphotype, not a named line — the trade name simply describes the dominant fluorescent green pigment of wild-collected pieces.
Keeper tips for this variant
The most forgiving Trachy color; place on sand under low-to-moderate light and gentle flow. A great beginner LPS that still fluoresces hard under blue light.
