📜 Backstory
R. florida is wild-collected in the tropical Western Atlantic and Caribbean and is the workhorse ricordea of the hobby. Solid-color florida are inexpensive and widely fragged; only the rarer color combos carry premiums. Honest note: many 'morph' names in ricordea are color grades on wild pieces rather than named designer lines.
Keeper tips for this variant
Forgiving for a ricordea — low to moderate light and low flow; it splits and propagates readily, making it the ideal beginner ricordea.
