An aquacultured rainbow-grade Ricordea yuma: as babies they show predominantly blue and orange, developing red tips as they mature into a multi-color polyp.
📜 Backstory
A 100% aquacultured rainbow Ricordea yuma line propagated and branded 'TRF Rainbow Yuma' by The Reef Farm (TRF). Unlike wild yuma grades, these are grown out in captivity over several years from selected rainbow parent stock, which makes them notably hardier than wild yuma and gives more consistent color (blue/orange juveniles developing red tips as adults). The 'TRF' prefix is the vendor's house designation for their aquacultured rainbow line.
Keeper tips for this variant
As a tank-raised, farm-hardy yuma it adapts readily — moderate light, low flow and no special feeding. The Reef Farm rates it 'easy'; still avoid sudden swings in your system.
