A variant of Pavona (cactus / potato chip coral) (Pavona cactus)
Representative Pavona (cactus / potato chip coral)photo — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
A captive-bred mint-green leafy Pavona (**Pavona frondifera**), very similar in look to the ORA Mint line, with crinkly, frilly fluorescent-green fronds. A budget-friendly, hardy entry-level SPS.
📜 Backstory
An aquacultured line from Biota (The Biota Group), the captive-bred marine livestock supplier, sold through its own shop and outlets such as AlgaeBarn. Biota's listing traces the strain to the same Julian Sprung *Pavona frondifera* lineage as the ORA Mint, so the two are essentially sibling cultured lines competing in the entry-level SPS market.
Keeper tips for this variant
Place lower in the tank under reduced/medium light and gentle-to-moderate flow; like other leafy Pavona it grows quickly and tolerates a wide range of conditions, making it forgiving for beginner SPS keepers.
