Representative Pavona (cactus / potato chip coral)photo — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
Like the neon-green strain but with a flat, encrusting growth form (an encrusting **Pavona maldivensis**) and an even brighter green coloration that hugs the rock rather than branching.
📜 Backstory
A Tidal Gardens (tidalgardens.com) stock selection chosen for its encrusting habit and intense green color, also carried by re-fragging farms such as Reef Systems Coral Farm. It is essentially the encrusting-form sibling of their Neon Green Pavona line; origin is Tidal Gardens stock.
Keeper tips for this variant
Excellent for encrusting over a rock face or covering a frag plug — give it medium light and let it spread; it grows fast and has sweeper tentacles, so mind placement.
