Jack O Lantern Pavona maldivensis
A variant of Pavona (cactus / potato chip coral) (Pavona cactus)

Representative Pavona (cactus / potato chip coral)photo — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
An astonishing **Pavona maldivensis** with bright orange tissue and contrasting green mouths/corallite centers — directly echoing the famous 'Jack O Lantern' Leptoseris look on a clubby-branched *maldivensis* skeleton.
📜 Backstory
Documented by Reef Builders in 2021 from two sources, origin debated between them: REEFurbished acquired their initial pieces from the tank breakdown of Elliot White (formerly of Pet City), while Gallery Aquatica traced theirs to frags of orange-and-green *maldivensis* sold by Australian collector Salty Pets. Only a handful of frags were known at the time, making it one of the rarest Pavona morphs in the hobby.
Keeper tips for this variant
Medium light and gentle-to-moderate flow to preserve both the orange body and green-mouth contrast; as an ultra-rare piece, quarantine and dip carefully before placing it in a stable mid-tank spot.
