Long Polyp Neon GSP
A variant of Green star polyps (Pachyclavularia violacea)

Representative Green star polypsphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
A neon green GSP sold under a 'long polyp' label for its flowing eight-tentacled polyps that wave in the current, giving a shaggier, more animated look than tight standard GSP.
📜 Backstory
Sold specifically as 'RC Long Polyp Neon GSP' by Reef Chasers (reefchasers.com) as an aquacultured Pachyclavularia violacea frag. Note that Reef Chasers' own listing describes only the standard eight smooth tentacles and does not substantiate distinctly longer polyps, so 'long polyp' appears to be a house marketing label for their neon GSP strain rather than a documented distinct morph. It is a propagated hobby strain of a natural green color form, not a wild import.
Keeper tips for this variant
Give it moderate light (the vendor cites ~150-250 PAR) and moderate flow so the polyps sway and fully extend; keep it on its own island rock as it still spreads readily.
