WWC Sizzling Star Polyps
A variant of Green star polyps (Pachyclavularia violacea)

Representative Green star polypsphoto — a dedicated image of this exact morph isn't available yet.
A vendor-branded star polyp with toxic yellow, fuzzy polyps rather than the usual green, used to add a contrasting color to a star-polyp garden. Part of the same star-polyp complex as GSP.
📜 Backstory
A named house line from World Wide Corals (worldwidecorals.com), sold as 'WWC Sizzling Star Polyps' and described by WWC as one of the hardiest soft corals with toxic yellow fuzzy polyps. It is part of the same star-polyp complex as green star polyps and is propagated in WWC's facility; it represents a WWC trade name for a yellow color form rather than a wild-collected or scientifically documented designation.
Keeper tips for this variant
Treat it like GSP: place it on its own rock under moderate-to-high light and flow; the yellow holds best with clean flow keeping detritus off the mat. It is described as one of the hardiest soft corals.
